Balanced Features. Restored Structure. Natural Results.

Facial aging doesn’t happen in just one area. Volume loss, structural changes, and skin quality all shift over time—affecting how the face looks as a whole.

Treating a single area in isolation can sometimes create imbalance. At Lumier Medical in Torrance, a full-face approach focuses on restoring proportion and support across multiple areas, rather than overcorrecting any one feature.

Dr. Michael Lum uses a conservative, stepwise strategy—often combining small amounts of filler across the cheeks, chin, jawline, temples, and under-eyes—to achieve results that look natural and cohesive.

Our before-and-after photos reflect this philosophy: patients look refreshed and balanced, not overfilled.

Real Patient Results: Full Face Filler Before & After

These results demonstrate how a comprehensive approach can:

  • Restore volume in multiple areas of the face
  • Improve overall facial balance and proportion
  • Soften lines and folds without overfilling
  • Enhance structural support across the face
  • Create a more refreshed, youthful appearance

The key is not the amount of filler—but where and how it’s used.

Panfacial filler volumization

This 62-year-old female from Torrance was looking for a dermal filler injector. She was treated with a variety of different filler types into the temples, cheeks, and around the mouth to help restore overall facial volume. This included Juvederm Voluma, Juvederm Ultra Plus XC, Restylane Refyne, Restylane Defyne, and Radiesse. In total, 8 syringes of filler plus approximately 100 U of Botox were injected over the course of two separate treatments. The before and after photos were taken less than 5 months apart.

Before Treatment: Common Concerns We Evaluate

Patients who benefit from a full-face approach often notice:

  • Generalized volume loss
  • Flattening of the cheeks or temples
  • Changes in jawline definition
  • Deepening folds or lines
  • A face that looks tired or less supported overall

During consultation, Dr. Lum evaluates the face as a whole—identifying where small adjustments can create meaningful improvement.

After Treatment: What Natural Results Should Look Like

When full-face filler is done correctly, results should be:

  • Balanced across all facial features
  • Subtle—not heavy or overfilled
  • Natural in both rest and movement
  • Supportive of long-term facial structure
  • Customized to your individual anatomy

In many cases, treatment is performed gradually over multiple visits to maintain control and precision.

Dr. Lum’s Philosophy on Full Face Filler

More filler is not better—better placement is what matters.

Dr. Lum’s approach emphasizes:

  • Treating the face as a whole, not isolated areas
  • Using conservative amounts in strategic locations
  • Building results gradually over time
  • Avoiding overcorrection and unnatural fullness

If filler alone isn’t the best solution—or if other treatments would enhance the outcome—that will be discussed openly.
