In the first photo set our client from Palos Verdes, CA had 2 syringes of Voluma XC injected into her outer cheeks. In subsequent photos, Juvederm Ultra Plus XC was injected into her inner cheeks using a microcannula technique. Notice how her tear troughs improved even though filler was not actually placed there. When the cheeks are volumized, the skin becomes more taut, and this can help diminish the hollow areas under the eyes.

This woman was concerned about a concavity in her left cheek area. The white arrow in thee second photo set points to the cheek concavity. The red arrow points to crepey skin in her left marionette region that was indirectly helped by the upward and outward lift created by filling in her left cheek. Voluma was used to improve the defects and restore some age-related changes that affected the shape of her face. Notice in the oblique (diagonal views) how the outer cheeks seen furthest from the camera look more rounded.

Dr. Lum’s client from Redondo Beach had two syringes of cheek filler VOLUMA XC were injected to help restore lost volume to this nice lady’s face. The objective was to maintain her natural appearance. Although filler was placed only in her outer cheeks, notice how her creases around the eyes, mouth and chin improved too!
